Day 1: Arrive Sydney Your holiday begins in the stunning city of Sydney with a sightseeing tour. This evening, enjoy uninterrupted 360° city views and delicious cuisine as you head to Sydney Tower for a Welcome Dinner. Stay: Sydney, Parl Royal Darling Harbour; Dinner included. Day 2: Sydney, Gold Coast Enjoy some leisure time this morning before being transferred to Sydney airport. Fly to the Gold Coast and transfer to the hotel. Stay: Two Nights: Gold Coast, Mantra on View Daily: Breakfast Day 3: Gold Coast After breakfast this morning, spend the day at leisure exploring beautiful Surfers Paradise. Perhaps wander downtown or walk along the golden sands of Surfers Paradise Beach. Breakfast included. Day 4: Gold Coast, Australia Zoo, Noosa Visit Australia Zoo, made famous by the late Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. Depart Surfers Paradise and head to the Sunshine Coast. Then Continue to Noosa for the night. Breakfast & Dinner included. Day 5: Noosa, Fraser Island Reach the beautiful World Heritage-listed Fraser Island. Stay: Two Nights: Fraser Island, Kingfisher Bay Resort Daily: Breakfast & Dinner Day 6: Fraser Island Today you’ll discover this beautiful island with a half-day guided tour. Then, with an afternoon at leisure, perhaps visit the historic wreck of the Maheno – a Trans-Tasman liner that was driven ashore during a cyclone in 1932. Alternatively, make the most of the island’s many walking tracks, or simply relax on a peaceful stretch of white sand with a good book. Daily: Breakfast . Day 7: Fraser Island, Rockhampton This morning, enjoy a ferry crossing to picturesque Hervey Bay while keeping an eye out for marine-life. Rejoin your coach for the journey north, travelling through sugar cane country. Later, arrive in the inland city of Rockhampton, known as the beef capital of Australia, farming more than 2.5 million head of cattle within a 250-kilometre radius of the city. Wide streets and fine Victorian architecture reflect the region’s wealthy 19th-century gold and copper mining boom, as well as the successful cattle industry. Stay: Rockhampton, Central Park Motel Daily: Breakfast & Dinner Day 8: Rockhampton, Daydream Island Stay at the picturesque resort of Daydream Island. In the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, this small island is one of the only inhabited islands in the Whitsundays. Travel to Airlie Beach where you’ll board a ferry for your journey through the Whitsunday Islands. Stay: Two Nights: Daydream Island Resort and Spa Daily: Breakfast & Dinner Day 9: Daydream Island See nature at its best on a stunning journey to the pristine sands of Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island. Today is yours to spend at leisure on spectacular Daydream Island. Perhaps snorkel off the beach and discover the region’s many species of tropical fish; stroll through the rainforest; or simply take the time to relax by one of your resort’s swimming pools. Daily: Breakfast Day 10: Daydream Island, Townsville, Mission Beach Transfer from Daydream Island to Port of Airlie and re-board your coach and travel to Townsville. On arrival, enjoy a tour of this tropical city, surrounded by rainforest and the world-famous Great Barrier Reef. Depart Townsville for beautiful Mission Beach.
