The answer to this question could be quite complicated depending on your situation.

Remember that the rules of travel can change with very little notice.  (Sometime in 24- 48 hours).

Travel rules between states are set by the states and not the federal government.  If NSW bans travel from Victoria – flying from Melbourne to Sydney could be illegal.

Currently travel into West Australia is impossible.  (Western Australia accounts for over 1/3 of the Australia island/continent)

If quarantines are reinstated you could find yourself isolated in a hotel room at your own expense for housing and food.

The bottom line is – Unless your travel is imperative – wait before purchasing an airline ticket.

We are, however, planning the land portion of vacations for the last part of 2022 and in 2023 and 2024.  Call or email us for details.

If your plans include travel to New Zealand – now is not the time.  New Zealand travel will probably open up in July of 2022 but only with a mandatory 7-day mandatory imposed self-isolation in a hotel and at the traveler’s expense.

In both Australia and New Zealand, all visitors will need a valid visa and must be fully vaccinated.
