It is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World
The reef, as one of the most spectacular visions of nature, joins the list along with Mount Everest, the Grand Canyon and Victoria Falls as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The reef is massive, covering an area roughly the size of Germany. It also is one of the most biodiverse environments on Earth. There are more fish species living in a two-acre area of the Great Barrier Reef than there are bird species in all of North America.
World Class Scuba Diving and Snorkeling
The Great Barrier Reef has waters that are warm and tropical. Whether you choose to scuba dive or snorkel, you will be amazed by the dazzling colors of yellows, blues and more of the fish. Being able to view these underwater is one of the main draws to visit.
